The Tour de España 2003 will take start on the 5th and finish the 9th November Schedule of the "Dix Mille Tours" • 10 and 11/03/03 Circuit of Jerez Spain • 20 and 21/05/03 Circuit of Nogaro France • 16 and 17/07/03 Circuit of Spa Belgium • 23 and 24/09/03 Circuit of Dijon-Prenois France • 3 and 4/12/03 Circuit of Estoril Portugal THE SUN WILL EXCEPTIONALLY GET UP AND DOWN TO THE EASTFOR THE 12TH TOUR AUTO. ACTUALLY THE 2003 ROUTE WILL CROSS NORTH/SOUTH THE FRENCH EASTERN DEPARTEMENTS On 7 April, the cars will meet up in Paris to undergo checks and scrutineering. A must before leaving on Tuesday morning to drive along the French secondary roads. The guideline is Paris/Cannes via Dijon (or Beaune), Vichy, Aix les Bains and Nîmes. This five-day trip will once again stick to the Tour Auto tradition. The route will, as usual, combine circuits (so far Charade, Dijon and Ledenon) and special stages that will appear when the itinerary will be nearly final. This last one, carefully designed will be hinged on the towns which infrastructures can host the big Tour Auto caravan. So many factors to consider within the length of the legs which are originally calculated at the nearest …metre. But the Tour Auto is used to this delicate exercise… Beyond a shadow of a doubt, this will work out well for it !
